Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and technical support across facilities, equipment, and client sites.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimise equipment downtime.
- Assist in identifying, diagnosing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
- Liaise with technical teams, field technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely resolution of operational and maintenance issues.
- Monitor maintenance activities and follow up on outstanding jobs to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and other operational documentation.
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and operational procedures.
- Track equipment maintenance needs and escalate recurring faults or major technical issues to the Operations Manager.
- Assist in coordinating the availability of tools, materials, spare parts, and other resources required for maintenance activities.
- Monitor compliance with established operational procedures and applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Requirements
- A good degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in operations support, technical support, maintenance coordination, facilities management, or a related field.
- Good understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate maintenance activities, monitor job progress, and follow up on outstanding technical issues.
