Job title: Operations Supervisor, Warehouse
About the Role The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and production area activities and developing strategies to meet production goals. They lead, develop, and maintain a safe working environment for the team.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of warehouse operators and ensure the maintenance of the warehouse and the tank farm
- Oversee preparation of blends and filling of products in various packaging types
- Verify the accuracy of orders, received items, inventory and deliveries
- Coordinate shipping tasks
- Perform daily warehouse inspections
- Maintain records, communicate relevant information, and prepare necessary documentation
- Monitor and control inventory items
- Ensure health and safety of your team and the work environment, maintaining a safe and clean workspace and proper use of PPE
- Adhere to rules related to the transport of hazardous materials and SIMDUT, and other company laws and regulations
- Ensure your team complies with company policies and procedures
- Perform transactional tasks in a Warehouse Management System
- Deliver and assess training
- Sort and distribute operational documents
- Perform other tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma required
- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations or similar
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a warehouse environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and PPE usage; SIMDUT familiarity is a plus
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
