About the Role The Operations Supervisor provides leadership for direct labor in the manufacturing of fasteners and manages resources to meet production schedules and customer requirements while ensuring safety and quality.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a team, setting clear expectations for performance.
- Interviewing, hiring or assisting in candidate selection, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues while maintaining a positive and productive work atmosphere.
- Enforce safety rules and PPE usage, maintain a clean and organized work area, operate equipment safely, correct unsafe conditions, and ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards across the department.
- Schedule employees to meet production needs and manage vacation/time-off requests in alignment with planning.
