Job title: Operations Supervisor
About the Role The role provides the leadership necessary to promote teamwork and continuous improvement within the Structurals operations team. You will assist with budget items, shipments, process control issues, and cross-training to support throughput and operational goals.
What You'll Do
- Lead teamwork and promote continuous improvement within the team.
- Prioritize work and set up shifts in accordance with throughput requirements.
- Participate in staffing projections.
- Facilitate scheduling of overtime and vacations per policy.
- Handle first-line performance issues.
- Communicate with employees respectfully regarding time management and workmanship issues.
- Notify supervision when further action is required to improve.
