About the Role The Operations Supervisor in the Security department oversees daily facility operations, with a focus on security and related support functions. This role reports to the Security Director and requires relevant certifications to ensure safety and compliance. What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations in the facility across departments, including social services, maintenance, and primarily security
- Monitor security operations and respond to incidents as needed
- Train and supervise security staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to procedures
- Coordinate with the Security Director and other departments to maintain safety and service delivery
- Maintain required certifications and ensure readiness for audits and inspections What We're Looking For
- Valid NYS Fire Guard Certification (F02) and Certificate of Fitness (F80); First Aid/CPR required
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of security/management experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lead security staff
- Experience with CCTV is a plus Nice to Have
- Prior experience managing security teams and coordinating across departments
- Familiarity with CCTV operations and facility security systems
