About this role
Job title: Operations Research Engineer
About the Role As Intel's Operations Research Engineer, you will design, develop, and apply advanced engineering and mathematical models, including simulation and optimization frameworks, to address manufacturing and supply chain challenges. You will work across Fab (fabrication) and A/T (assembly/test) environments and partner with cross-functional teams to drive innovative, scalable solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and apply advanced optimization and simulation models to improve factory performance, production loading, equipment utilization, and supply chain operations.
- Identify and solve highly complex problems across factory performance, production loading, equipment optimization, decision science, and distribution network optimization.
- Translate complex problems into practical models, implement solutions, and communicate results to engineers, operators, and leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in operations research, optimization, and/or simulation.
- Experience applying mathematical models to manufacturing and supply chain challenges.
- Deep understanding of Fab and A/T environments and related supply chain processes.
- Ability to work across disciplines, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and relevant tools.
