Operations Processor

We are looking for an Operations Processor to support essential financial services activities in Albany, New York. This Long-term Contract position focuses on maintaining accurate transaction records, resolving account-related issues, and ensuring timely processing of vendor invoices in a fast-paced operations environment. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, sound judgment when handling financial discrepancies, and a customer-focused approach to daily operational support.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with internal financial controls.

• Investigate account issues, reconcile discrepancies, and take appropriate action to support timely resolution.

• Review account activity and balances to identify inconsistencies, needed adjustments, or potential processing concerns.

• Enter and update high volumes of transaction data with a strong focus on accuracy and completeness.

• Support accounts payable operations by validating documentation and helping ensure proper payment handling.

• Assist with banking-related transactions and operational records to maintain reliable financial information.

• Respond to internal or external inquiries with professionalism, providing clear support on account and transaction matters.

• Contribute to risk awareness by following established procedures and escalating unusual account activity or exceptions when needed.

• Experience handling account resolution, account adjustments, and account balance review in an operations or financial setting.

• Working knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice entry and payment-related documentation.

• Ability to process banking and account transactions accurately in a deadline-driven environment.

• Strong customer support skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

• Proven accuracy in high-volume data entry and transaction processing tasks.

• Solid attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies or incomplete information quickly.

• Comfort working with financial records, operational procedures, and routine risk control practices.
