Operations Manager

Growing, established and very reputable industrial organization is looking for a promotable (groomed to become plant manager) Operations Manager in the Beaumont, Texas area.

This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $135k to $140k plus an annual bonus and very generous 401k plan with a 7% match.

Relocation assistance is also available.

Responsibilities

Prioritizes health & safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times
Ensures compliance of all Federal, State and Local regulations related to the waste and environmental services industry
Reviews production schedules to plan facility operations; establishes priorities and sequences to ensure productivity and quality
Establishes operating goals and resolves operational and maintenance issues to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
Develops and/or revises standard operational and working procedures; ensures company policies and procedures are adhered to
Troubleshoots treatment processes through acquired chemistry and waste treatment knowledge and best practices

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or science related field (required)

Experience

5 plus years of related plant operations experience in hazardous waste operations and/or chemical plant operations
Some knowledge and understanding of P&L's
Technical knowledge of equipment and/or processes related to chemistry
