About this role
We are seeking an Operations Manager / Production Manager in Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria to lead bakery, pastry and kitchen operations. The role offers a starting salary of ₦150,000 with commission and focuses on delivering high-quality parfaits, yoghurt, desserts, snacks and beverages while driving operational efficiency and team performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day bakery, pastry and kitchen operations, including the production of parfait, yoghurt, desserts, snacks and beverages
- Lead, supervise and develop the team; manage staffing, scheduling and performance to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure quality control, food safety and hygiene standards are upheld across all production areas
- Drive operational efficiency, waste reduction, inventory management and cost controls
- Plan and organize production schedules to meet demand and coordinate with other departments as needed
- Maintain compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience managing bakery, pastry and kitchen operations
- Hands-on knowledge of producing parfait, yoghurt, desserts, snacks and beverages
- Strong leadership, supervisory and team management skills
- Ability to ensure quality control, food safety, hygiene and operational efficiency
- Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant or food production environment
