About this role

About the Role The Operations Manager II at DHL Supply Chain plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouses. You will lead and develop teams, implement processes to optimize warehousing operations, and drive safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across multiple facilities.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, motivate and develop a diverse team of Supervisors and indirect reports by providing coaching, guidance, and support, while fostering inclusion and belonging.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardize processes, and introduce best practices to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of heightened safety awareness.
  • Compile reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity and accuracy metrics, to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Foster open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates to promote transparency, alignment, and teamwork.
  • Partner with Human Resources and site leadership to ensure a comprehensive hiring process for Supervisors and top talent aligned with organizational needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience leading and developing teams of Supervisors; coaching and mentoring as needed.
  • Ability to develop workflows, labor planning, standardize processes, and implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Commitment to health and safety regulations and cultivating a safety-focused culture.
  • Strong data and reporting skills with KPI tracking (productivity, accuracy, etc.) and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with HR and site leadership on hiring for Supervisors and top talent.
  • Inclusive leadership and ability to foster belonging.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary ranges: National $72,000 - $85,000; California $75,000 - $95,000; Washington $80,169 - $95,000.
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, Discounted Stock Purchase, 401K and generous PTO policy. You are trained on data up to October 2023.
