Job title: Operations Manager
About the Role As Operations Manager at Linde, you will help ensure plant operations are conducted safely and responsibly, maintain regulatory compliance, and oversee production scheduling for cylinder gases to meet customer needs. You will drive productivity, supervise personnel, and support employee development while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to keep the Twinsburg facility running efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Ensure plant operations are conducted safely and responsibly, maintaining compliance with regulatory agencies and Linde policies
- Schedule production of cylinder gases to meet customer requirements, maintaining stock levels and monitoring raw material deliveries
- Drive productivity to maximize plant capabilities and operational efficiency
- Ensure proper appearance, image, and security of the facility and equipment and provide job training and support employee career development, supervising personnel fairly to foster motivation and empowerment
- Manage employee activities, conduct thorough accident/incident investigations, and complete all required reports accurately
- Support distribution of products efficiently, interacting professionally with internal and external customers
- Respond to emergency calls and conduct monthly safety meetings, assisting in SOP implementation and monitoring asset usage
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required
- At least three years of experience leading and developing employees
- Production / distribution experience required; industrial gas industry or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of cylinder gases and processes
- Proficient knowledge of regulatory agencies including FDA, DOT, OSHA, and EPA
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft applications, Lotus Notes and CU
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year (USD)
