Operations & Maintenance Engineer (Solar PV & Bess)
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Operations & Maintenance Engineer to join our Projects team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing the performance of solar PV and battery systems to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor solar PV and battery systems using remote monitoring platforms (SCADA, BMS, inverters)
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Perform site inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and fault resolution
- Monitor battery parameters including SOC, SOH, voltage balance, and temperature
- Prepare inspection reports, maintenance logs, and root cause analysis reports
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and system handovers
- Ensure compliance with OEM guidelines, HSE standards, and company procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
- 2–5+ years hands-on experience in solar PV operations & maintenance
- Experience with BESS, inverters, SCADA systems, and remote monitoring platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and technical reporting skills
- OEM certifications are an added advantage.
