Job title: Operations Analyst (Trade Processing)
About the Role We are a global, fast-paced company providing trade Operations and Investment Accounting Services. We are looking for an Operations Analyst to support our Middle Office Operations team, who has a broad understanding of all Investment Operations functions. The role requires expertise across the full trade lifecycle and Investment Accounting Operations, and you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on high-quality and timely delivery.
What You'll Do
- Process and monitor daily workflows for transaction data from clients, third-party managers, and custodians
- Manage trade lifecycle from confirmation through to settlement
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve transaction booking exceptions
- Execute trades across FI, FX, Equity, Money Market, Derivatives, Private Debt, SPVs and Real Estate
- Manage events lifecycle (corporate actions, coupons, dividends, derivative lifecycle)
- Perform reconciliations (Platform vs. Custodian and other third parties)
- Monitor cash position and transaction reporting
- Liaise with third-party managers, counterparties, clients and custodians to resolve operational issues
- Respond to client queries/requirements
- Participate in client onboarding, testing and service development
- Identify opportunities for continuous service improvement
- Maintain procedures and provide ongoing training
- Manage administrative activities and contribute to management reports
- Ensure adherence to service delivery against SLAs and KPIs
- Participate in client internal and external audits
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience within a buy-side or outsourced Operations team, specifically Trade Management, FX, and/or Reconciliations
- SimCorp Dimension experience is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Capital Market products
- Familiarity with diverse security types and the investment industry
- Proficient in Derivatives product knowledge (OTC pricing, lifecycle) and related areas
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word & Excel)
- Strong analytical abilities and a logical approach to process improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience
