At Cardif Servicios, we are looking for an Operational Security Engineer specializing in Web Application Firewall (WAF) administration to enhance our application protection and ensure business resilience.

Role Objective: You will be responsible for the L3 administration, support, and overall management of our Web Application Firewall platforms, ensuring a robust and efficient security posture.

️ Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Management: L2/L3 management of production configurations within the Web Application Firewall (specifically F5 AWAF ASM).
• Implementation: Deploy and maintain application-specific WAF configurations.
• Support & Analysis: Provide L2/L3 support for application-level tasks and issues, including log monitoring and analysis.
• Optimization: Act as the point of contact for error messages and lead the analysis of false positives in collaboration with application managers.
• Quality Assurance: Test WAF functionalities, especially during the rollout of new application versions.
• Incident Response: Resolve or contribute to the resolution of production and security incidents.
• Governance & Compliance: Generate compliance reports and collaborate closely with IT Risk & Security teams to define WAF processes.
• Documentation: Review and update operational processes and technical documentation.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in WAF administration (Strong preference for F5 AWAF ASM).
• Strong technical analysis skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in L2/L3 support environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with platform managers and risk teams.
