Job title: Operational Excellence Coordinator

About the Role Three Operational Excellence Coordinators to join our teams in Coventry, Hawarden and Wakefield. You will help drive continuous improvement across our operations by translating group strategy into practical, day-to-day improvements at site level. You will work closely with site leadership and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve productivity, streamline processes and support the implementation of automation and digital tools. If you have an analytical mindset and enjoy understanding how processes work, this role could be a great fit. Experience in production environments or with Lean principles would be particularly beneficial, but most important is your curiosity, problem-solving approach and enthusiasm for improving how things work.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze site workflows and operational data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and improvement workshops
  • Monitor productivity and performance through dashboards and reporting tools
  • Support the implementation of automation and digital solutions
  • Encourage and promote colleague-led improvement ideas and engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with teams across sites to share best practice and track improvements

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in continuous improvement, operational support, or similar environments
  • Analytical mindset with confidence working with data and performance metrics
  • Understanding of Lean principles or productivity improvement approaches
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
  • Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving and implementing improvements
  • Degree or equivalent experience in operations, engineering, science, or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience in production environments or with Lean principles would be particularly beneficial

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: £30,000 per annum
  • Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday
  • Location: Coventry, Hawarden and Wakefield (UK)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Annual Leave: 25 days rising to 30 days + 8 public holidays (pro rata for part-time)
