About the Role CEVA Logistics is seeking an Operational Control Room Specialist to serve as the beating heart of our warehouse operations in Nieuwegein. You will create precise pick batches every 15 minutes, monitor flow, and collaborate with the Process Control Room Specialist to optimize processes and ensure smooth delivery. What You'll Do
- Enter pick batches to ensure the operation has the correct buffers.
- Monitor the continuous flow within the warehouse system.
- Provide the operation with hourly updates based on performance monitoring.
- Communicate with the operation about the division of labor and necessary adjustments across flows, parameters, and stations.
- Take responsibility for allocating resources, workstations, and machinery in line with the production plan. What We're Looking For
- A completed degree (MBO-4 level), preferably in Engineering, IT, or Logistics.
- Relevant work experience in a logistics, production, or service environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a systematic, structured way of working.
- Good social and communication skills.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Full-time availability and willingness to work in shifts (in time). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: €2,720 to €3,521 per month (depending on experience and education level) with the opportunity for growth within the pay scale.
- A one-year contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
- Employment conditions under our CEVA collective labor agreement, including 25 vacation days and 5 ADV days for full-time employment.
- A profit-sharing bonus of up to 3% if company results are positive.
