Job Description

Purpose: The purpose of this job is to assist in the efficiency and effectiveness of the retail division by ensuring all administration tasks are complete timeously. This will result in achieving customer satisfaction, in order to generate sales and promote the business and create sustainable growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaising with store persons regarding the supply and demand of products in department.
• Inserting stock from suppliers
• Processing special orders, credits & stock take adjustments
• Sourcing out-of-stock products from suppliers or branches
• Assisting with the reducing of dormant and excess stock
• Assisting with all line status reports
• Assisting with the procurement and return of promotional stock
• Attending to all administrative duties in department
• Initiating changes to improve processes and the business
• Managing of all IT related matters, hardware, software and K8 matters
• Reporting all incidents to manager on a daily basis
• Housekeeping of work area
• Perform any work-related tasks as delegated by superior

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric or Equivalent

• Brights Induction (Service Excellence)

• 3 years minimum experience in similar role

• Customer Service Training

• Store Training and product knowledge training

• Willing to take on responsibility

• Decision making skills

• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) at all levels

• Ability to handle pressure

• Computer skills – Microsoft office (Internet, E-mails, Word & Excel)

• Time management skills
