• As an Operations Logistics Specialist, your core role is to coordinate and manage daily logistics operations to ensure the smooth and timely movement of goods. This includes overseeing import and export shipments, customs clearance, freight forwarding, transportation activities, banking documentation, and delivery processes. You are responsible for ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations, while maintaining strong coordination with suppliers, freight partners, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders to achieve on-time delivery and operational excellence.

• Work Experience

• Coordinate import and export shipments from shipment initiation through customs clearance and final delivery.

• Prepare, review, and follow up on shipping and customs documentation, including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, permits, and other required documents.

• Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely customs clearance and resolve documentation or clearance issues.

• Follow up with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, and transport providers regarding bookings, shipment status, arrivals, and deliveries.

• Monitor shipments and provide regular updates on ETA, customs status, delivery status, and potential delays.

• Coordinate with banks regarding shipping documents, import/export documentation, payments, and other banking requirements related to shipments.

• Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, and Warehouse to ensure smooth logistics operations.

• Follow up on customs duties, taxes, freight charges, and other logistics-related costs and ensure the required documents are available for processing.

• Ensure compliance with applicable customs, import/export, and company procedures.

• Prepare regular shipment and logistics status reports and maintain accurate tracking files.

Work Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in logistics operations, shipping, import/export, customs clearance, or freight forwarding.
• Hands-on experience with customs procedures and shipping operations (not order processing).
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain operations.
• Exposure to import/export shipping processes, customs clearance, and freight forwarding activities.
