What you will do:
-
Practice nursing in accordance with organizational philosophies, established standards of care, state board of nursing rules, the state nurse practice act, and governing agency regulations.
-
Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and coworkers to create a compassionate environment.
-
Collaborate with patients, primary caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize clinical outcomes and the patient experience.

Assess and analyze objective, subjective, psychosocial, and cultural data relevant to the patient’s condition.

Prioritize and execute care plans, coordinate care delivery, and apply targeted interventions in a safe, respectful, and ethical environment.

Communicate timely assessment changes to providers and maintain team communication to support safe care transitions.
-
Maintain a clean, safe work area; handle and clear instruments, equipment, and supplies according to infection-control protocols.

Check stock levels and expiration dates, anticipate supply needs, and place orders for inventory as assigned.

OR experience: Minimum 1 year of operating room experience with orthopedic procedures (Required).

Qualifications & requirements:
-
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
-
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice (Required).

Basic Life Support (BLS) — American Heart Association (Required).
-
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) — American Heart Association (Preferred; Required if specified by unit).
