About this role
Essity Aktiebolag is seeking a Logistics Worker in Cajicá, Colombia. In this role, you will apply product handling guidelines for Full Pallet – Picking by transporting merchandise according to the system, both on arrival and departure, to ensure the product remains in good condition. You will inspect assigned equipment and the workspace for basic physical, mechanical, and electronic conditions, noting any potential malfunctions or operational anomalies. You will participate in the cycle counting schedule defined by the inventory department to maintain order, cleanliness, and accurate product counts, and promptly report any overages, shortages, or swaps. You will perform the necessary tasks for receiving, storage, and/or shipping processes to ensure compliance with standards for product handling, order, and cleanliness. You will fulfill all duties and instructions related to the position or area as assigned by your immediate supervisor, based on the needs of the process and the company, and you will ensure the care and proper use of company assets.
Who you are
- Education: High school diploma. Preferably a professional technician in logistics or production processes.
- Experience: 6 months to 1 year in logistics and/or operational roles in production plants.
- Basic knowledge: Familiarity with office automation tools (SAP, Office), knowledge of operating equipment, understanding of hygiene and safety regulations at work, awareness of hazards associated with lifting maneuvers, knowledge of the equipment operating manual, and knowledge of the area's traffic plan.
