About the Role The Skilled Operator (Operario de Producción) supports with and executes operational activities, adhering to established specifications and safety, quality, and environmental guidelines to achieve production targets. It is the basic level of operator, performing basic operational processes in production and operating equipment that requires on-the-job training and specialized training.

What You'll Do

• Execute operational activities / processes such as discharge, load, transport, clean, label, and operate all equipment to contribute to safe, effective and efficient production processes.
• Maintenance & repair: periodically inspect and perform small maintenance tasks on production equipment, signal defects, and, where appropriate, conduct minor repair work.
• Reporting: log data and information on production orders and activities in the appropriate logbooks / systems to maintain complete administration and insight into production orders.
• Continuous improvement: signal deviations in current processes, techniques and/or systems and flag opportunities for improvement with supervisor to continuously optimize and improve operational (work) processes, tools and systems.
• Safety & Compliance: work in compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations and procedures, as well as operational standards; promote awareness on SHEQ and take appropriate action in case of imminent hazards.
• Good housekeeping: ensure the work area is left clean and in a safe condition; maintain the appearance of the production line(s), working area(s) and the production site.

What We're Looking For

• Basic operator level with ability to perform routine tasks and operate production equipment; willingness to learn through on-the-job and specialized training.
• Knowledge of the use of materials, equipment and tools; readiness to gain experience and skills over time.
• Ability to identify and report deviations, hazards, and safety concerns; commitment to safety, quality and environment.
• Good communication and teamwork, with the ability to work under supervision by Multi-Skilled Operators, Supervisors or Team Leaders.
• Focus on accuracy, documentation, and maintaining production records.
