Role Overview
We are seeking an Onsite Support Technician. This role involves the hands-on installation, configuration, and support of in-room hardware at a healthcare facility. The technician will perform basic testing and troubleshooting while adhering to hospital safety and privacy protocols.
Key Responsibilities

Install, replace, and configure set-top boxes, tablets, and related in-room hardware.

Run basic tests to confirm devices power on, connect to the network, and function correctly.

Perform basic troubleshooting for connectivity, display, and device issues.

Coordinate room access with hospital staff and manage workflow around occupied rooms.

Track completed work and devices, and report any issues or exceptions.

Follow all hospital safety, infection control, and privacy procedures.

Escalate technical problems to the remote support or engineering team when necessary.

Required Qualifications
-
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience in desktop support, field service, AV, or hardware installation. This individual must be comfortable handling hardware, cabling, and basic device setup. A basic understanding of networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and IP connectivity, is required. The role demands strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently on repetitive tasks, and professional, courteous communication in patient-facing settings. The physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and move between floors and buildings. Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule are also necessary.

Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or other large-scale device rollouts.

Familiarity with IPTV, set-top boxes, Android devices, or mobile device management.
