Job title: OneStream Solution Architect
About the Role OneStream Solution Architect to join Baker Tilly’s OneStream practice within Digital Solutions. You will apply industry and technical experience to build a wide range of services for clients, helping grow the firm’s commercial market presence and provide functional and technical consulting.
What You'll Do
- Utilize application expertise, business knowledge, and technical skills to lead discovery, requirements, design, build, test, and deployment of OneStream solutions for Baker Tilly clients.
- Lead client workshops to gather requirements and create design documentation for OneStream applications.
- Design a comprehensive infrastructure framework within the OneStream financial application, considering scalability, performance, security, and compliance.
- Develop and demonstrate OneStream proofs of concept as needed to optimize performance.
- Guide development and deployment of technical solutions; facilitate OneStream solution and architecture reviews for cross-division alignment.
- Oversee OneStream solution quality and testing (unit, integration, regression, UAT).
- Work with clients to develop roadmaps and communicate initiatives across the project team.
- Identify opportunities to better utilize OneStream in financial close and planning processes to drive results.
- Support the Finance OneStream Center of Excellence (COE) governance framework, including standards, policies, principles, and procedures.
- Collaborate with clients on best-in-class BI, analytics, and reporting solutions.
- Interact with Baker Tilly and client leadership on engagement management.
- Stay current with advancements in OneStream core platform, marketplace solutions, and AI capabilities.
- Mentor and develop junior staff.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering OneStream Finance Close & Consolidation, Budgeting & Forecasting, and BI solutions.
- Deep understanding of OneStream financial engine and consolidations.
- Strong ability to lead workshops, design solutions, and conduct architecture reviews.
- Experience designing infrastructure for scalability, performance, security, and compliance.
- Familiarity with COE governance, standards, and procedures.
- Excellent communication with clients and leadership; ability to influence across teams.
- Proactive in staying current with OneStream and AI capabilities.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
Nice to Have
- Experience with BI analytics and reporting tools beyond OneStream.
- Knowledge of additional financial planning and consolidation tools and marketplace solutions.
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics enhancements.
