What you will enjoy doing

• You will manage on-site cylinder inventories to ensure customers have the gas products needed for daily operations
• Coordinate cylinder ordering and replenishment with production plants and distribution teams to maintain optimal stock levels
• You will monitor inventories of industrial, specialty, laboratory standard, and medical gases across customer locations
• Support cylinder distribution and retrieval activities while adhering to safety policies and regulatory requirements
• You will safely handle compressed gas cylinders and cryogenic dewars using appropriate equipment and procedures
• Perform inventory transactions, cylinder tracking, billing, and order processing using business systems such as JD Edwards and handheld devices
• You will maintain accurate inventory records for full and empty cylinders in compliance with customer and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with facility support teams, clinical staff, customer contacts, and internal operations to resolve inventory and supply needs
• You will assist with order entry, inventory reconciliation, cylinder accountability, and product allocation
• Support medical gas inventory requirements in patient care and other critical customer locations to uphold environment-of-care standards
• You will identify customer needs and communicate growth opportunities to sales and account management teams
• Promote a culture of safety by complying with company policies, customer site requirements, and applicable industry standards

What makes you great

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or trade skills preferred
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, healthcare support, industrial distribution, logistics, or customer-facing roles preferred
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams
• You are proficient computer skills with ability to learn inventory management and business systems
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain required site security clearances for access to customer facilities when necessary
• You have knowledge of compressed gas products, cylinder management, medical or industrial gases is a strong advantage
• You have the ability and willingness to safely lift and move up to 40 pounds routinely
• Ability and willingness to safely move compressed gas cylinders and wheeled carts that may exceed 1,200 pounds using proper equipment
• Commitment to working safely in healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, and commercial environments
• You have the ability to learn and apply applicable industry standards including CGA, NFPA, and DOT
