About the Role This role leads the development, integration, and industrialisation of on-board precision agriculture technologies. It collaborates with Chinese integration and technology partners to build a cost-effective, scalable portfolio for China with potential for global deployment, starting from an ultra-low-cost automatic guidance solution and expanding into more advanced precision and automation capabilities. What You'll Do
- Define and develop a scalable on-board precision technology portfolio, including entry-level automatic guidance solutions, expandable upgrades (hardware and software), and advanced features such as automation and autonomy; ensure a clear customer upgrade pathway and position these technologies as value-adding complements to whole goods.
- Lead the system-level design and integration of on-board precision technologies, covering guidance/positioning, vehicle and implement interfaces, operator interfaces and controls, and sensor integration; ensure compatibility across product platforms and model ranges; balance performance, cost, robustness, and serviceability.
- Act as the primary technical interface with Chinese integration partners and suppliers; evaluate partner solutions for technical capability, scalability, cost structure, and suitability for global deployment; drive alignment between partner development and product roadmap requirements; ensure solutions meet quality, reliability, and safety expectations.
