Job Description

We are seeking a highly reliable, professional, and experienced Official Driver to join our Human Resources & Consulting Firm in Abia. This critical role involves providing safe and timely transportation services for our Management, staff, clients, and other authorized personnel.

The successful candidate will uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality, while meticulously maintaining vehicle standards and ensuring optimal operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report faults or maintenance needs.
• Monitor fuel, tyres, oil, brakes, lights, and other vehicle components.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, insurance, and licensing.
• Maintain accurate trip, mileage, fuel, and servicing records.
• Plan routes and use navigation tools to optimise travel time.
• Observe traffic laws and practise defensive driving.
• Ensure vehicle security and follow appropriate security procedures.
• Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when required.
• Perform other driving duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Official, Corporate, Executive, or Personal Driver.
• Valid Nigerian Driver’s Licence.
• Excellent knowledge of Abia roads and major routes.
• Knowledge of defensive driving and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Clean driving record and strong commitment to road safety.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be punctual, disciplined, trustworthy, discreet, and security-conscious.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexible hours.
• Must be physically fit and professionally presented.
• Experience driving for Senior Management, Executives, corporate organisations, or political campaigns is an added advantage.
