About the Role We’re seeking a high-caliber professional to join Citi’s Securities Services team as Officer, Transfer Agency Analyst - Hybrid based in Kuala Lumpur. You’ll provide analytical and administrative support for derivatives and securities transactions, maintain position records, and help ensure compliance and smooth operations across teams. What You'll Do
- Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading with derivatives and securities transactions
- Maintain position records in coordination with the trading desk and trade processing functions
- Support the team during peak volume periods and during onboarding/training of new employees
- Minimize processing risk, perform root cause analyses of discrepancies, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Ensure team procedures and audit requirements are up-to-date across processes
- Escalate issues promptly and handle client and ad-hoc queries
- Review processes and applications to identify improvement opportunities and support Monthly Service Packs
- Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with laws, policies, and ethical standards; escalate and report control issues What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Experience in institutions linked to capital markets preferred
- Basic knowledge of accounting preferred
- Efficient with numerical tasks and transactions
- Team player with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and intermediate problem-solving skills
