About the Role Join our in-house team of outstanding professionals as a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve independence and quality of life. What You'll Do
- Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services and interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and in accordance with physician orders.
- Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist.
- Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care.
- Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.
- Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab. What We're Looking For
- Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care experience preferred.
- Current knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
- Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills. Nice to Have
