About the Role A pediatric Occupational Therapist - Temporary (Leave of Absence Coverage) role at SunnyDays Therapy in Monticello, MN. This is a full-time, contract position to cover a leave from August 2026 to January 2027, onsite.
What You'll Do
- Provide pediatric Occupational therapy to help infants, toddlers, children and young adults achieve milestones, independence and confidence in play, self-help, social, motor, cognitive, and sensory skills.
- Prepare for and conduct screenings and evaluations; provide clinical recommendations; complete evaluation reports and share findings with families and physicians.
- Create individualized treatment plans and goals, and provide 1:1 therapy using client-specific interventions; document progress.
- Partner with parents/caregivers and physicians to ensure plan of care meets client needs; support home care and measure progress.
- Complete required documentation thoroughly and on schedule according to insurance requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and Minnesota OT license (or in process)
- Passion for helping children shine; excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team
Nice to Have
- 1-2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $32.00 - $36.00/hr depending on licensure and experience
