Job title: Occupational Therapist Inpatient | Per Diem | Day
About the Role The Occupational Therapist 1 Inpatient provides patient evaluation and/or treatment according to established policies and procedures for their discipline to patients of all ages and populations. This role supports inpatient care in a per diem, part-time capacity within Concord Hospital.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations and document in accordance with licensure, scope of practice, and department standards.
- Advocate for and actively participate in developing disciplinary and interdisciplinary team members.
- Develop and document assessments for each patient at evaluation and during treatment.
- Develop, revise, and document goals and treatments for all patients during the episode of care.
- Demonstrate personal adaptability, flexibility, and timeliness in managing the department caseload.
- Take responsibility for accurate and thorough patient charging as part of daily charting.
- Take responsibility for individual performance goals and meeting department expectations.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Certification, Registration & Licensure: Current American Heart Association Basic Life support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association within 30 days of hire; current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of NH.
- Experience: Experience working with a multidisciplinary team, patients and others; knowledge of growth and development across a diverse age and multicultural population.
