Job title: Occupational Therapist Inpatient | Per Diem | Day
About the Role The Occupational Therapist Inpatient Per Diem is responsible for conducting patient evaluations and providing treatment in accordance with established policies and procedures, serving patients of all ages and health populations. This role may also involve participation in indirect patient care activities as needed. Per diem staff are expected to work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month, in addition to scheduled weekdays, and assist with holiday coverage. Staff must be flexible to provide coverage at other Concord Hospital sites when necessary.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations and document in accordance with licensure, scope of practice and department standards.
- Develop and document assessments, goals and treatments for each patient during evaluation and treatment episodes.
- Advocate for and participate in developing disciplinary and interdisciplinary team members.
- Demonstrate personal adaptability, manage the department caseload, and ensure timely charting and patient charging.
- May cover additional or alternative shifts and coverage at other Concord Hospital sites as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and successful completion of NBCOT (National Certification Board Certification).
- State of NH Occupational Therapy license active and in good standing; American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
- Experience working with an interdisciplinary team, providers, patients and their families; new graduates considered.
Compensation & Benefits
