Job title: Occupational Therapist Inpatient | Per Diem
About the Role The Occupational Therapist Inpatient Per Diem is responsible for conducting patient evaluations and providing treatment in accordance with established policies and procedures, serving patients of all ages and health populations. This role may also involve participation in indirect patient care activities as needed.
What You'll Do
- Perform patient evaluations and re-evaluations and document in accordance with licensure, scope of practice and department standards.
- Develop and document assessments for each patient at evaluation and during treatment.
- Develop, revise, and document goals and treatments for all patients during the episode of care.
- Advocate for and contribute to the development of disciplinary and interdisciplinary team members.
- Demonstrate personal adaptability, flexibility and timeliness in managing the department caseload.
- Take responsibility for accurate and thorough patient charging as part of daily charting.
- Meet department expectations and your own performance goals.
- May participate in indirect patient care activities and be flexible to cover other Concord Hospital sites as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program and passed the national certification exam.
- State of NH Occupational Therapy license active and in good standing; American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
- Experience working with an interdisciplinary team, providers, patients and their families; new graduates welcome.
- Per diem requirements: able to work minimum two weekend shifts per month; participate in holiday coverage; flexible to cover additional or alternative shifts.
Compensation & Benefits
