About the Role As a Home Health Occupational Therapist at CenterWell Home Health in Waco, TX, you will assess and treat patients in their homes to improve strength, mobility and independence. You will collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and revise plans of care, and you will help patients regain function to perform daily activities with confidence. What You'll Do
- Assess/screen patients' daily living/work-related skills and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives.
- Administer and interpret functional tests in home or other settings to assist the physician in evaluating function.
- Confer with the physician and health care team to develop/revise the Plan of Care.
- Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction per physician orders to improve/restore strength, coordination, ROM and function, or teach compensation strategies.
