Occasional Babysitter in Saratoga, CA 95070
A lovely family in Saratoga is seeking an occasional babysitter for their 10- and 13-year-old children, starting in December 2026. Occasional care is needed 1–4 times per month, any day Monday through Sunday between 6:00 PM–11:00 PM, with a minimum of 4 hours per shift. The children are fairly independent, and the family is looking for a reliable caregiver to supervise them and ensure their safety.
Start Date: December 2026
Length of Position: Long-term
Schedule: Occasional care, 1–4 times per month, with no guaranteed hours
Typical Needs: Monday–Sunday, anytime between 6:00 PM–11:00 PM, minimum 4 hours per shift
Compensation: $45 per hour
Responsibilities
- Ensure the children’s safety
- Supervise the children while playing indoors
- Supervise the children while playing in the backyard
- Light housekeeping related to the children, including washing dishes and keeping their wardrobes organized
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience
- CPR certified, or willing to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
Compensation:
This position pays $45 per hour, and the family is looking for occasional care 1–4 times per month with no guaranteed hours.
