Job title: OCC Lead Engineer
About the Role As the OCC Lead Engineer in Cairo, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trains within your area of responsibility. You’ll monitor traffic via CCTV, manage the line and depot power supply, and record events, coordinating with cross-functional teams to uphold safety and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and control train and MIV movements.
- Ensure the quality of operations, including punctuality, availability, and regularity.
- Maintain operational safety in both nominal and degraded situations.
- Record events in the logbook and/or specific programs.
- Monitor CCTV and regulate traffic in coordination with EONP and T&C managers.
- Manage the power supply system for the line and depot, including high, medium, and low voltage distribution.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Communication, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a railway project.
- Awareness of railway operation risks related to electrical and train movement environments.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Strong computer skills and ability to work with specific programs.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic and safety-critical environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
