About the Role ICON is seeking an OB/GYN Sonographer located in Bothell, WA for an onsite, part-time role within our clinical research operations. The position supports OB/GYN imaging within established protocols and collaborates with physicians, nurses, study coordinators and other healthcare professionals to advance women's health and patient care.
What You'll Do
- Perform and document high-quality OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Obtain diagnostic images of fetal, pelvic, gynecologic, and reproductive anatomy.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout ultrasound procedures.
- Review patient histories and verify appropriate imaging requirements.
- Communicate findings and technical information to physicians and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of ultrasound procedures and patient records.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, study coordinators, and other healthcare professionals.
- Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment and imaging workspaces.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification through ARDMS.
- OB/GYN specialty certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience.
- Strong knowledge of obstetric, gynecologic, and fetal imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), reproductive health, or women's health settings.
- Clinical research experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and imaging systems.
