What You'll Do

Caring for pediatric population, job duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with ADLs

• Obtaining and recording Vital Signs

• Obtaining and recording Weights

• Record Intake and Output

• Assist with dressing changes

• Bathing patients

• Assist with patient feedings

• Stocking

• Required Qualifications

• Must be able to perform a wide range of physical activities which include moving, transporting and positioning patients as well as equipment.

• Provide patient care and support Nursing staff in a patient care setting

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Desired Qualifications

• Preferably enrolled in a Nursing program and have completed a Medical/Surgical clinical rotation.

• Modes of Work

• Background Screening

• Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
