About the Role Credenza Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Neuro ICU in a full-time capacity. The role involves direct patient care, patient transportation, and support for equipment, supplies, and team coordination in a fast-paced hospital setting.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assist with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting.
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs and daily information to the care team.
- Transport patients and assist with turning, ambulation, and mobility.
- Deliver meals, assist with hydration, and support personal hygiene.
- Aid nurses and other staff while adhering to policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist with stocking and maintaining unit supplies and equipment.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum one year of work experience as a Nurse Aide or CNA; or a diploma/certificate as Nurse Aide, Medical Assistant, EMT, or Patient Care Technician; RN with foreign license with at least one year of acute care experience; or nursing student with clinical fundamentals completion.
- Current certification in BLS/HCP.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Basic computer skills; able to work as part of a team; strong communication skills.
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
