KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide first aid, basic nursing care and emergency response.
- Manage minor illnesses, injuries and health complaints with appropriate referrals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and treatment registers.
- Monitor learners with known health conditions and coordinate healthcare plans.
- Support health education, hygiene and disease prevention programmes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Certificate in Nursing from a recognised institution.
- Registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Valid practising licence.
- First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an added advantage.
- 2-3 years' relevant nursing experience, preferably in a community health or similar setting.
- High level of confidentiality and professional ethics. Good knowledge of child and adolescent health.
