About the Role The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Health & Disease at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine seeks a Nurse Practitioner for the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in a hybrid inpatient/outpatient role. The NP will deliver clinical care across hospital and ambulatory settings within cardiovascular health and disease, contributing to high-quality patient care and ongoing performance improvement. What You'll Do
- Practice clinical and patient care according to professional practice standards and institutional policies and procedures.
- Conduct intake assessment/triage/admission, including pertinent history, physical, and psychosocial dimensions.
- Identify patient needs and participate in ongoing assessment; interpret patient condition and abnormal findings and communicate promptly to the physician and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Participate in hospital and provider performance improvement activities. What We're Looking For
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Ohio APRN license with prescriptive authority.
- Active Board Certification in an appropriate nursing specialty.
