About the Role Provides direct patient care and support to multidisciplinary health team within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner (NP). Serves as a clinical expert through patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and consultation, while maintaining program excellence and professional growth. Responsible for developing comprehensive care plans, coordinating patient care, delivering ongoing treatment, and fostering a strong patient-provider relationship. What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive care plans and coordinate ongoing treatment; contribute to cost-effective care management and resource optimization.
- Support continuous process improvement and enhance patient experiences.
- Adhere to licensure, certification, and regulatory requirements; maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS) and NP practice credentials. What We're Looking For
- Education: MSN or DNP from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure/Certification: Active and unrestricted CA licensure as RN and NP; NP Furnishing (NPF) license; board certification as NP; DEA certificate to dispense controlled substances; NPI; BLS; ACLS required upon hire; Adult Acute Care or Adult Gerontological Acute Care board certification required by December 31, 2028 if assigned to Inpatient Clinical Care in specified departments (Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic, General Surgery Clinic, GYN Oncology Surgery, Hospitalists Program, Inpatient Specialty Programs, Stroke Service, Vascular Clinic).
- Experience: Preferred: Experience as a NP providing care in an acute or ambulatory setting; minimum one year of experience with acute stroke and other neurovascular emergencies if assigned to Inpatient Specialty Programs. Nice to Have
- Experience in acute stroke or neurovascular emergencies; strong patient education and collaboration skills. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $80.00 - $88.00 per hour; Per Diem/Part-time scheduling; onsite at Eisenhower Medical Center.
