About the Role Provides direct patient care and support to a multidisciplinary health team within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner (NP). Serves as a clinical expert through patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and consultation, while maintaining program excellence and professional growth. Responsible for developing comprehensive care plans, coordinating patient care, delivering ongoing treatment, and fostering a strong patient-provider relationship. Committed to cost-effective care management, optimizing resource utilization, and enhancing patient experiences through continuous process improvement. What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive care plans, coordinate patient care across services, and deliver ongoing treatment.
- Foster a strong patient-provider relationship and educate patients and families; participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to program excellence.
- Support cost-effective care management and continuous process improvement through evidence-based practice and resource optimization. What We're Looking For
- Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure/Certification: Active and unrestricted CA licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP); Nurse Practitioner Furnishing (NPF) license; current board certification as NP; Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate; National Provider Identifier (NPI); Current Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire and Adult Acute Care or Adult Gerontological Acute Care board certification required by December 31, 2028 if assigned to Inpatient Clinical Care in the following departments: Cardiothoracic Surgery Clinic (CC7550); General Surgery Clinic (Salta) (CC7434); GYN Oncology Surgery (CC7657); Hospitalists Program (CC8714); Inpatient Specialty Programs (CC7055); Stroke Service (CC7050); Trauma ACS/APPs (CC7016); Vascular Clinic (CC7563). Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) from American College of Surgeons; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from AHA required upon hire if assigned to the following departments: Inpatient Specialty Programs (CC7055); Stroke Service (CC7050); Trauma ACS/APPs (CC7016). Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner board certification required if assigned to Behavioral Health Rancho Mirage (CC7336) or Behavioral Health Rimrock (CC7338).
- Experience: Preferred: Experience as a NP providing care in an acute or ambulatory setting in assigned area of specialty; Minimum one (1) year. Nice to Have
- Preferred: Experience as NP in acute or ambulatory settings in the assigned area of specialty; familiarity with inpatient and/or outpatient care models; strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $73.63 - $111.85 per hour (USD).
- Hours: 36 per week; Schedule: Full Time; Shift: Nights; Shift Hours: 12 Hour. On-site role within United States facilities.
