Job title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
About the Role Curative Medical Group is seeking a dedicated and board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative and forward-thinking team. The role combines in-person care in downtown Austin with telemedicine, serving both Texas and Florida patients. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of adult health conditions within your scope of practice and collaborate closely with physicians and other APPs.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients (18+) through in-office and virtual visits.
- Conduct thorough patient examinations, including reviewing medical histories, performing physicals, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Utilize your telemedicine experience to conduct virtual patient visits, ensuring a high standard of care and patient satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and fellow APPs in accordance with Texas and Florida state regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Contribute to the development of our clinical services and programs.
- Contribute to a collegial and collaborative workplace.
What We're Looking For
- For NP: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution; Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-BC).
- For PA: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program; PA-C certification by NCCPA.
- Minimum 3 years of direct in-person patient care experience in Primary Care.
- Must hold an active and unencumbered license to practice in Texas (APRN for NP; PA license for PA) and Florida Telehealth License or be able to obtain one upon hire.
- Proven experience in providing patient care via telemedicine platforms.
- All providers in this role will be required to see patients in both Texas and Florida.
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required.
