About the Role Join UTHealth Houston's Children’s Heart Institute ICU as a Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care. This role provides front-line patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team in the Texas Medical Center, focusing on acute care for pediatric patients. What You'll Do
- Providing direct patient care in the ICU
- Documenting medical records and care plans
- Responding to emergencies as part of the multidisciplinary team What We're Looking For
- Texas APRN-NP and RN licensure
- National acute care pediatric NP certification
- BLS and PALS
- Master’s in nursing or post-master NP certificate
- Rotating ICU 12-hour shifts
- Texas residency required
