Main responsibilities

Under the Technical supervision of the Program Manager and the management of the Medical Supervisor, the Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care in the CTU, ensuring effective triage, patient monitoring, treatment support, infection prevention and control (IPC), health education, and data reporting in line with MdM and national cholera treatment protocols.

Daily data collection and report to the medical supervisor

Ensure correct use of guidelines and clinical procedures
The nurse will also conduct the following tasks:
- Patient Triage and Initial
- Receive and triage all patients presenting at the CTU.
- Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, weight where applicable).
- Classify patients based on dehydration status (cholera case classification under protocol).
- Assign patient identification numbers and ensure proper registration.
