About the Role The Nuclear Medicine Technologist collaborates with the Radiology team to perform nuclear medicine imaging using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring safe handling and high-quality diagnostic results. What You'll Do
- Oversee procurement, preparation, quality control, calculation, identification, documentation, administration, disposal, storage, and safe handling of all radioactive materials.
- Schedule exams and review images to determine diagnostic quality.
- Start and maintain intravenous (IV) access and administer medications as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner. What We're Looking For
- Education: Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institution (preferred).
- Licensure/Certification: ARRT registration or NMTCB certification (required); state licensure preferred unless required by the state.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association (required).
- Experience: 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience (preferred). Nice to Have
