About the Role Wolfspeed’s NTI PMO is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to drive execution excellence and process innovation for our SiC power product portfolio, from concept through commercialization, interfacing with product marketing, R&D, operations, test, reliability, and quality teams.
What You'll Do
- Own and drive new power product technologies through the Business Phase/Gate process from concept to commercialization; product focus on Die, Discrete, or Module.
- Develop and utilize models to predict device performance; manage lifecycle including simulation, evaluation, performance analysis, troubleshooting, optimization.
- Lead risk mitigation planning for design/technical, manufacturing, schedule, and yield risks.
- Integrate next-generation technologies to enable new product releases; collaborate with R&D and marketing to align with needs; commercialize technologies and launch first-of-a-kind power products.
- Troubleshoot issues with NPI product designs not meeting performance or robustness requirements.
- Ensure de-risked technologies are handed off to larger portfolios; design building blocks to meet customer requirements.
- Develop technology roadmaps with R&D/marketing; integrate technologies into product portfolios.
- Forecast and schedule substrate and epi starting materials, wafer starts, qualification builds, tests, and reliability to meet qualification timelines.
- Work with Marketing and Sales to define release timelines and strategies; monitor progress and report status; communicate risks.
- Ensure testing, reliability, stress, and evaluation per JEDEC/AEC standards and SiC standards; facilitate DFMEA and DVP&R; apply 8D methodology for corrective actions and lessons learned.
