What You'll Do
- Build and sustain dynamic relationships between progressive philanthropists, movement leaders, and other allies that go far beyond transactional grantmaking.
- Apply grantmaking and field-building strategies through Piper Fund and Proteus' donor collaboratives to align resources with critical needs and shape strategy.
- Provide tailored organizational support through Proteus Fund's fiscal sponsorship program and share information with philanthropy partners to advance social justice goals.
- Represent and embody Proteus Fund's values—diversity, equity, and inclusion; integrity and professionalism; transparency and accountability; and respect and humility—in grantmaking and partnerships. What We're Looking For
- Commitment to advancing racial, gender, queer, and disability justice and an inclusive democracy.
- Experience in philanthropy, advocacy, or movement-building, with the ability to bridge funders and movement actors.
- Collaborative, communicative, and mission-aligned mindset capable of working across programs and partners. Nice to Have
