About this role
Infineon Technologies is seeking a (Senior) Technician Automation in Dresden, Germany. This role involves real-time monitoring of automation components and locating system malfunctions from the control room, troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies, and providing IT Fab Support as the first point of contact for manufacturing IT problems. You will implement preventive maintenance and repair measures, and support the installation and modification of automation systems. The work is conducted in a cleanroom environment on a continuous 8-hour shift system, 6 days on followed by 4 days off, with 2 early shifts, 2 late shifts, and 2 night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Real-time monitoring of all automation components and localization of system malfunctions via the control room
- Troubleshooting electrical, electronic and mechanical assemblies
- IT Fab Support – first point of contact for IT problems in manufacturing
- Implementation of preventive maintenance and repair measures
- Support for the installation and modification of automation systems
Requirements
- Skilled worker qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, automation technology or a similar field
- Basic understanding of IT applications
- Enjoyment of practical, hands-on work
- High quality standards for one’s own work results
- Willingness to work shifts in a cleanroom environment
