North America Test Engineering Manager

About the Role North America Test Engineering Manager to lead a team of Test Engineers, overseeing strategy, development, and execution of product testing to ensure quality. This role includes staff management (hiring, training, performance evaluations) and cross-functional collaboration with R&D, product management, and manufacturing to define robust testing strategies and plans. The Manager provides technical leadership and drives continuous improvement of test processes. What You'll Do

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive test engineering strategy aligned with business objectives and product roadmaps.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Test Engineers, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and career pathing.
• Test Process Management: Oversee the entire product testing lifecycle from requirements analysis and test plan creation to execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Collaboration: Work with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to integrate testing activities into the product development process.
• Resource Management: Allocate and manage testing resources, equipment, and budget to optimize timelines and costs.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain high standards for product quality and reliability through effective testing methodologies.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate testing risks and challenges.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on testing progress and product quality to senior management. What We're Looking For
• LabVIEW development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of hardware and RF testing principles and applications.
• Extensive programming experience in C, C#, and C++.
• Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies (agile, waterfall) and test automation frameworks.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Nice to Have
• Experience researching and implementing new testing technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance coverage and effectiveness.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives within the test engineering function. Compensation & Benefits
• Target Base Salary Range: $120,300 - $186,300 USD per year. Pay is commensurate with experience and geographic location. The company provides pay transparency in accordance with applicable law.
